I've been asked by a European contact to see if it is viable to form a local development team who will do a new version and do continuous development for a growing web-based business. The team will use object oriented Perl and use Catalyst Framework and Mason.
I was asked to see if I can form a 3-man team as a start. Preferably, the members should have 2 years OO-Perl experience. Anybody interested? I already have 2 possible people, but I think we need a "guru" to guide the group. So, I'm also open to consulting arrangements from experienced people who would be hard to pull from their stable jobs and/or may not be willing to do Perl work full-time (e.g. Migs, Orly, Sherwin, Zak, etc -- Zak, I actually emailed you last week on this after Calen suggested you but the mail bounced). Also open to partnership with a 3rd party if there is a company there who can take on this long-term engagement.
