yep.

patents are like nukes... they're there as deterrent like what the
soviets and the americans called "Mutual Assured Destruction".

steve jobs last january at his macworld keynote said "boy, have we
patented it" referring to the user interface for apple's iphone,
which is "multi-touch" as well and guys like jeff han and other
pioneers of multi-touch probably have patents of their own. so...
unless they've been licensed by microsoft... hehehe.

bill gates i think was just trying to steal some of apple's
thunder... but a coffee table doesn't really impress especially when
only the richest of the rich can afford it.
