i'am. i'm also using the same gtalk plugin for IM-ing Chikka users :) it works better than the chikka client, afaic.

I'm using Debian Lenny with some unstable packages. I thought I thought of installing pidgin-encryption package but it makes no difference. I can connect to Yahoo fine. If this is a real problem, can anybody recommend another IM (Jabber?) client that can connect to Gmail? Thnx.
