I am using ksmoothdock on PCLinuxOS... luckily, its available at the PCLOS repos.. however, it doesn't work well with Beryl running.

my experience is that kde is more customizable ergo, looks more mac like. But at a cost. gnome people say it is bloated. But is mac is what you want then I suggest installing kde, baghira, and kooldock(or ksmoothdock, but you have to compile this one, not available on the repo of ubuntu). kooldock is the mac bar at the bottom(make sure you have parabolic zooming on) while baghira changes your interface and buttons (I particularly like brushed metal) get icons and wallpaper from www.kde-look.org On 6/20/07, Chris GM <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi list, > > Can anyone point me to where I can setup a MAC interface like desktop > (with the movable Menu bar at the bottom) > for GNOME and KDE?
