I'd like to correct myself. The mentioned event is, after all, exclusive for Vietnam, as indicated:
IOSN ASEAN+3 in cooperation with InWEnt Capacity Building International, Germany and NetNam Corporation of Vietnam are holding a training of trainers session in Hanoi, Vietnam for Vietnamese participants over 10 days (30th July-10th August). I stand corrected. Doc Francis also mentioned about a similar event that might be held in the Philippines. To quote: "IOSN ASEAN+3 will look into the possibility of having one locally. Actually I got word that MediaG8way has plans of organizing an event on FOSS Businesses coinciding on Software Freedom Day on 15 September 2007 in Manila. We are still trying to contact them." The LPI proctor can be LPI certified provided that s/he took the exams BEFORE getting certified as proctor. S/He cannot conduct training, though. _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
