alternative: 3M Filtrete aircon filters, cut to size, tape to air inlets. Doesnt restrict airflow much and lasts months (1 sheet cut into 9 square pads, 1 pad lasts 1-1 1/2 months)

At the network I maintain, the offices that have this small air dehumidifier / cleaner / filter thingy have the cleanest PC innards, while the ones without have the regular dust. Sorry to be less than specific, I'll try to ask what they call that thing. Basically it's an air filter gadget that looks like one of those small square stand fans. They're usually placed underneath their desks. Most of the older folks at the office have this, and when I check out the insides of their PCs to fix something, the mobo looks brand new. Meanwhile, the rest of the office has the regular dirt and grime. I'm sure this is interesting from a health pov as well.
