Sorry, off-topic.

Here maybe is one big help for giving FOSS a better business sense.

I got this from Richard Alam of asterisk-ph. Some of you guys may be able to contribute.

The Ontario (Canada) government has funded research
and programs on how to commercialize OSS. The OSBR is
a newsletter to disseminate knowledge on lessons
learned about OSS.

====
The July 2007 issue of the Open Source Business
Resource (OSBR) published by the Talent First Network
is now available for free at http://www.osbr.ca
Please examine and distribute the link to the OSBR to
those who may benefit from reading it.

Please let us know whether or not you wish to
contribute articles to future issues. Page 25
provides a schedule of the topics we plan to address.

The OSBR examines the issues relevant to the
development and commercialization of open source
assets, including open content. The intent is for the
OSBR to:
* help create the right environment for companies to
commercialize goods and services based on open source
assets
* remove barriers to the commercialization of open
source assets
* surface the open source related activity that is
going on in companies, universities and governments
and knits it together as a cohesive story that we can
take to the world
* evolve to satisfy the needs of companies that use
open source to compete

Initially, the scope of the OSBR will be the province
of Ontario, then Canada, and eventually the world.

Dru Lavigne is the editor of the OSBR. Her email is:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

We would be grateful if you could please:
* distribute the link to the OSBR as widely as
possible
* contribute articles
* suggest topics of interest and potential authors
* let us know how we can improve the OSBR
* subscribe to the OSBR
* volunteer to the Advisory Board, and
* highlight events and news that pertain to open
source development and commercialization in your
community.

Many thanks in advance - we would very much like to
hear from you!

Salamat.

Richard
