I suddenly have the need for a proliferation of Linux boxes (well,
virtual machines) so I can test out some cluster software.

Unfortunately I don't have that much disk space. 10GB per VM as
demanded by RHEL or CentOS 5 is way too much.

I just need something modern enough (e.g. same kernel and glibc as
RHEL 4) but hopefully small enough since I'll just be running a JVM on
the distribution. Where are the single-CD Linux distributions anyway?

(I'm gonna try Puppy, only 93MB ISO, but it's not RPM-based and I have
no idea if JDK 1.6 will run on it..)
