Congratulations, your SquirrelMail setup looks fine to me!

but when i tried to log in to the browser:

ERROR:
ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.

Query: CAPABILITY

What could be wrong?

as you can see from the logs generated when you ran config.pl, your imap server
dropped the connection, check
dovecot.conf if protocols imap is allowed and what is the default_mail_env
value? also check if you can login to your imap server via telnet.
