Cool. Great that you recovered from that. It could be a hellish
experience, specially for mission-critical infra. (Then again, you
don't depend on just RAID -- software, fake, or whatever. As the
mantra goes, "RAID is not synonymous to backups".)

That's because it (and the whole raidtools thingamajig) have been
deprecated for `mdadm`. Sorry, my bad. I had it in FC1, but now it's
just `mdadm`. But after going with LVM and hardware RAID, I have never
looked back.
