Yes i have done that but its not automatic. It is needed for automatic
and continuous integration of kernels. Using an emulator is extremely
difficult especially if its not made for testing.

I find this emulators useful for bootstrapping kernels but not for
test driven development of kernels. Maybe one of these can be turned
into a testing harness.
