Bill Gates has done a lot of things right. No open-source zealot can claim to have saved 20 million lives every year through his immunization program in Africa. That's what a $1Billion donation can provide -- immunizations for 20 million people a year. Larry Ellison by comparison (with his MiG fighter jet and largest yacht in the world not owned by a government) compares very unfavorably.
