You can use MEncoder to do this:
mencoder -vf rotate=1 -ovc lavc -oac copy orig_movie.avi -o rotated_movie.avi
Rotate:
* 0 Rotate by 90 degrees clockwise and flip (default).
* 1 Rotate by 90 degrees clockwise.
* 2 Rotate by 90 degrees counterclockwise.
* 3 Rotate by 90 degrees counterclockwise and flip.
I use MPlayer and MEncoder (www.mplayerhq.hu) on both Windows and
Linux, works like a charm.
