hmmm... 17k!

It seems midway between the two devices that I use heavily: Nokia
Communicator, and Toshiba M6. The Communicator is small, 3G, 800-pixel
screen, has Safari, etc. etc. etc. but not Linux-based, very slow, and
doesn't work with EAP-enabled wireless AP's. The M6 is mid-sized,
resumes from suspend in 5 seconds, takes another 10 seconds to renew
its wireless DHCP lease.. but is otherwise fantastic (2 cores, 2G
RAM).

So the Eee PC seems to be halfway between these two. For me,
personally, seems like a nice toy but I don't need it. Does it have
Bluetooth? pair it with an LG KU250 3G phone and you have (slowish)
internet anywhere. I'm not such a fan of a dangling HSDPA modem..
