Fellow PLUGgers, I'm exploring IMAP vs. IMAP4rev1 using Evolution 2.6.3 with a Cyrus IMAP/SSL server. So far I'm able to do the basic email operations on both, except that I cannot move/copy email from my local folder to the remote server when using IMAP4rev1.
My questions are: 1. Does anyone have experience with using Evolution 2.6 and IMAP with largeish mailboxes on a regular basis? 2. What are the (theoretical) improvements of IMAP4rev1 over IMAP? 3. Would anyone know if there's a known fix to getting Evolution 2.6 to work well with IMAP4rev1 including being able to move/copy mail across?
