Hi I am installing Nagios on a CentOS v5 box. In the box, the SELinux is disabled. Upon following the steps based on the Nagios manual that I downloaded from the site, I found out that there's no binary under /usr/local/nagios/bin. I installed both the nagios-cvs and the nagios-plugins.
I recompiled again their sources several times, installed the apps, but I didn't see any error at all. Upon checking the nagios.cfg using the -v flag, it cannot recognize the nagios file (not the config file). May naka-experience ba sa inyo nito upon installation nagios? Tsaka pag nainstall ba ang nagios, automatic ba na ini-add niya ang config sa httpd.conf? wala kasi akong nakita; nilagay ko yung sa sample pero siyempre di uubra kasi wala nga yung nagios na binary.
