Yup, you're doing it right. :D You can check if swap is enabled and used by looking at the output of `swapon -s'. Typically swap gets used even if RAM isn't fully used up when memory-intensives like Firefox make use of the swap to store not-so-frequently accessed media. Also, if you're using a tmpfs partition (like having it on /tmp,) swap can be used in the same way as RAM. Cheers, Zakame -- Zak B.
