Please get the latest source RPM of kernel 2.6.23 from one of the Fedora mirrors. The latest 2.6.23 Fedora kernel may not be the one you want, but I think that will do. Then build the kernel and initrd*.img by following my build instructions in my Yahoo blog:
http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-0OCENX4haau1oA38TsiK4DP2YLk-?cq=1&p=177 Then you need to modify /boot/grub/grub.conf (for Fedora, menu.lst is for Ubuntu) to enable your new kernel to boot. Anyone has encountered a similar problem and able to solve this? What do you think I missed here? Thanks in advance. Marvin ________
