IM man-in-the-middle sniffing service?. If your users has access to Gmail over HTTPS then your proxy/scanner can be bypassed. If that is really the way that the 3rd party scanner does the sniffing, then they can help you. Does the 3rd party scanner use Symantec IM Manager?
