Hello Guys,

I was trying to run a GeoServer for GIS applications with Mandriva
2008. But every time I would try to run it i got this message: "The
JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly. This
environment variable is needed to run this program". With some
readings, I set the JAVA_HOME and its PATH via /etc/profile. But then
again I still got the same result. Btw, i place the geoserver folder
at /var/www/html.

Any advice or particular experience on this case? A million thanks in advance.

Tata
