Are you sure you have that right? 310.4.20.1? All components of an IPv4 dotted quad are always limited to values from 0 to 255 (which is why they're called 'octets'). Either you got at least the first octet wrong or your new provider has made more than one critical mistake in giving you IP address parameters. 255.255.255.255 means that the host is isolated on its own "network", and cannot access any other host but itself. -- An expert is someone who knows some of the worst mistakes that can be made in his subject, and how to avoid them. http://stormwyrm.blogspot.com
