Hi! We are trying to install CentOS v5 on a quad-core Intel CPU with 8GB of RAM; a riser with a 10/100 NIC card is also installed. Pero pag install pa lang (Disc 1), I get a status - ACPI: Assume Root Bridge...
Tapos, hang na siya doon... I tried using *linux noprobe* on the installation, pero ganoon pa rin. We encountered a doc that CentOS can support quad-core with more than 8GB of RAM; pero based sa status, mukhang walang relasyon sa CPU/RAM compatibility. Meron na ba sa inyo nag-install ng CentOS sa ganitong machine specs? Kung gumana, anong Linux distro ang gamit niyo?
