First of all, sorry for the OT post. Colin Charles, a Malaysian friend of mine, who used to be part of the early days in Ubuntu (we got to work during the Ubuntu Down Under developer sprint in Sydney and some stuff with the IOSN) and now currently with MySQL (under Sun) as Community Manager, is currently in town for Sun Tech Days at the Makati Shangri-La.
We're meeting up this week, probably Wednesday or Thursday in Makati and inviting MySQL enthusiasts to join as well and just "talk business".
