Manager knew what Linux was.  I'm guessing they called their head 
office.  They simply told me that Vista purchase was required.  At that 
point, I just didn't want to waste any more time.  We needed a laptop 
purchased and setup with dev tools to get some weekend work in.  
Sayang,  Octagon had really good prices.
