Perhaps this is old news for some of you guys, but I just (as in 10
minutes ago!) managed to get my sub-pixel AA in Cairo to look really
gorgeous (same level as Windows ClearType with the tuning wizard).
It's annoying that GNOME has nothing like the ClearType Tuning Wizard
so people have to resort to trial-and-error.

The reduction in eyestrain for me is so significant that I just had to
blog about it...
