this is strange / stupid. I was quite annoyed / worried when i first
saw this (was on globe broadband for 6 months until they could not
restore wired access, so had to go back to smart bro). in fact i
thought someone had hijacked one of smart bro's servers.

like what everyone else has done, used opendns instead. it's just
annoying that i cannot configure my wireless router to use opendns for
DNS (if DHCP is enabled, both IP-address-getting and
DNS-server-getting are done via DHCP). so have to configure my PC to
use opendns "by hand".


On a different / related note: did anyone see yesterday's Star? it's
got this one-page blurb on "open source and the PLDT group" but
nothing specific.... although, Smart Bro has one of the largest Linux
deployments in the country.
