Hi, This may work as I did this when a creating centos domU. I think you need another box with the same rpm version and package headers[1].
1. rpm --root /xen --initdb 2. rpm -ihv --nodeps --root /xen oldglibc.rpm [1] Use --initdb to create a new database, use --rebuilddb to rebuild the database indices from the installed package headers.
