A check with Netcraft of the MILF site shows that when it was hacked, the site was hosted by a Windows/IIS-6.0 server in Malaysia. The Inquirer was quite irresponsible in its accusation of Linux as the culprit, when it has not even verified the facts of the case.
The hacking was reported on October 9, when www.luwaran.com was being hosted by Microsoft IIS-6.0, unless the hacking actually happened after Sept 15 but before October 9, when the website was being hosted by Linux-Apache: ******** Hosting History of www.luwaran.com Netblock Owner//IP address//OS//Web Server//Last changed Telekom Multimedia of Telekom Malaysia Berhad Telekom Exchange II, Jalan Lingkaran Fauna 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor, MALAYSIA//202.71.104.230//unknown//Microsoft-IIS/6.0//9-Oct-2008 Telekom Multimedia of Telekom Malaysia Berhad Telekom Exchange II, Jalan Lingkaran Fauna 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor, MALAYSIA//202.71.102.229//Linux//Apache/2.2.9 Fedora//15-Sep-2008 Telekom Multimedia of Telekom Malaysia Berhad Telekom Exchange II, Jalan Lingkaran Fauna 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor, MALAYSIA//202.71.104.230//Windows Server 2003//Microsoft-IIS/6.0//12-Sep-2008 Telekom Multimedia of Telekom Malaysia Berhad Telekom Exchange II, Jalan Lingkaran Fauna 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor, MALAYSIA//202.71.104.230//unknown//Microsoft-IIS/6.0//11-Sep-2008 ************** Pablo Manalastas --- On Thu, 10/9/08, Gideon N.
