A dual core atom platform is currently available in the market...the intel D945GCLF2..just like the board in this article.. http://www.guru3d.com/article/ecs-atom-330-dual-core-p945gc-review/1..the atom that shipped with the msi wind is a single core atom and yes..because of hyper-threading..the OS sees it as two processing units...
