You should have no problems. I routinely rsync large quantities of data (several gigabytes, my record at the moment though is only about 20 GB) and have never experienced any trouble. RSync over SSH is preferable if you're doing it over a wide area network where authentication and privacy is an issue, but you need to judge whether the additional CPU overhead of encryption is worth it. -- Si vis pacem, para bellum. http://stormwyrm.blogspot.com
