If you all got bored with the CTF format, try the "DTF" (defend)
format wherein the vm images are already compromised and, are running
both legit and malicious services (botnet). Players have to fix/defend
the enterpise network (includes web, mail, file, etc. servers and
desktop clients) while maintaining the uptime. Scores are tracked by
Nagios (via active service polling) while the attacks are automated
and controlled by the botmaster(s).

This format enhances both sys admin and security skills, albeit
requires an high-end machine to run various images.
