To the original poster (seekuel), please post the cupsd.conf of the
Ubuntu box with the printer attached to it. The cupsd.conf of the
client seems to be ok. Also, what is the IP address of the Ubuntu box?

Since he's doing CUPS to CUPS printing, Samba configuration has
nothing to do with it.
Dong is on the right track with looking at the CUPS configs directly.
