micr0$oft will present their position paper.. wud be better if more open source
advocates can attend the hearing..
The office of Cong. Casino would like to inform all PLUG members and
open source advocates that House Committee on Information and
Communications Technology joint with the Committee on Trade and
Industry will be conducting a second hearing on House Bill 1716 or the
FOSS Bill of 2007 on 17 December 2008, wednesday, from 9am to 12nn.
Mr. Rick Bahague of CPU is invited as a
resource person. Attendance during committee hearings and support for
the promotion and popularization of the bill is most welcome.
