Gents and Gals, Have my personal document repository via dokuwiki for a couple of years now which fine and running smoothly.
But unfortunately, I received a lot of word, excel, pdf, etc. documents and which i don't want to to transfer in dokuwiki because of either time constraints or want the docs to be intact. Because of this, do you know of any free (paid is okay... open source would be better.) software that runs in linux that can spider not only a website (dokuwiki), but can also get metadata from word, excel, pdf etc. and present the data in a search engine.
