hi holden, Any possibility that your motherboard has a "LAN Bypass" feature? > > nope... the BIOS was the first thing i checked since the OS was taken from an image and i had to short the BIOS to get it back to factory settings. either way, since there really isn't any problem and i'm in a company that is "procedural", i'm deploying it as is.
