If it is just a an AV scanning station, why do you need a real-time scanner? An
on-demand scanner will do. ClamAV will do the job and it is as good as
commercial AV programs. If you need a pop-up dialog, you can write a script
then have the error message displayed by gdialog (for GENOME) or kdialog (for
KDE).
