I run a shadow master DNS for my domains on my single VPS, originally to help me learn more about bind9 configuration and optimization (especially for virtual environments.) To achieve redundancy though, I set up an EveryDNS account to use their servers as secondary DNS, which I then set as the main lookup servers through whois. -- Zak B.
