Yup. Most people don't care what the OS is, they just need to get their work
(or play) done.

I found this out way back in 1997 (I was working for San Miguel at the time)
when we were transitioning users from Win 3.x and DOS to Win95. We
encountered a LOT of resistance from users of all ages, despite our
explanations that we were upgrading them to more powerful computers and
software that was supposedly easier to use.

Couldn't you have just explained that, in general, programs (including
viruses) written for Windows won't run on Linux?
