Hello All,
Will this setup work?
1.) Set up a software RAID1 array(using mdadm and onboard SATA/RAID ports),
store files on it;
2.) At the end of the month, break the mirror, keep the mirror drive as full
backup
3.) Replace the mirror drive with a new drive
4.) Rebuild the RAID1 array
Is there anything i'm missing? afaik the array will be available even while
rebuild is in progress(albeit there would be a performance hit brought about by
the rebuild) tia
