I've always wanted a device to put a digital reference library and run some
productivity apps on. The launch of the Ipad got me interested to see what
options I have. All the apps I need are now Linux-based - there are
available counterpart apps for the Ipad but (1) the desktop version to sync
to requires MacOS or Windows and (2) they entail additional costs.

Anybody here tried the Touchbook (link below), or successfully installed
Linux on a touch/tablet device (similar to those mentioned at
http://technology.inquirer.net/infotech/infotech/view/20100613-275452/In-your-face-e-Readers)?
Would love to hear from you. My main concern with the Touchbook is after
sales support.

Thanks

Johann
