Well, there's the Samsung Galaxy S, but so far it's only being offered via 
Globe; afaik you can buy it w/o a plan, something like 32 - 33k. Not exactly 
cheap.

The Spica seems like a good alternative, though not really sure why Samsung 
Phils isn't pushing it.

responsive as it looks. This is an upgraded 1.5 to 2.1 with missing features
