yup, waste of money, time, and effort.
i asked to test it first before paying but they said they will test it
after payment.
so i payed for it and they tested it for 1.5 hours to no avail.
i suggested they replace it with DVD-R's of the same value but they
continued to test it.
later when the tech asked if it can be replaced they said they closed
their books already and i have to come back the next day.
by the time they finished testing it was 1 hour after mall closing,
and everyone was more than ready to go and just waiting for me to give
up.

if anyone has been able to make it work, please let me know.

maybe they never really work as usually when returning products,
cdrking staff usually quickly get a replacement then finish the
transaction so they can go on to the next customer.
