The Intel D945GCLF is already an old cpu/board and it is now

I used to have the D945GCLF2, as my file/proxy/web/backup server but I sent
it in the province being used now as a training PC. It was replaced by Atom
CPU D510, the dual core/4 threads version. But this one sucks 13 watts of
juice.

Suggestion to the OP is to find one based on the newer IntelĀ® Atom Processor
Z5xx series.
The<http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=49669&processor=Z560&spec-codes=SLH63>y
are already having the VT-x feature for virtualization support and the best
part is they only consume 2 - 2.5 Watts.

Check the list of Atom Boards/CPU -
