The court is intended to control the power of the state. Thats one of
its functions anyway. But being monopolies of power the state can
influence the court. No matter what you say about checks and balances.
Its only the militancy of the people that can make the state behave.
Thats why Mason pushed for the right to bear arms and he was not
thinking about sporting firearms at all.

sorry for being off topic. my political funny bone was tickled. im
retired and thinking about politics and software is what i do all day.

wikileaks is not censorproof. and they are not open enough. assange
runs it like his personal kingdom. i have always been doubtlful of the
wikileaks resistance to censorship. thats why i believed that an
anonymous censorproof network is a better solution. a social network
where everyone can vet the the articles is so much better. they were
called "wiki"leaks after all.
