I don't think the number of android devices out there to be insignificant.
Unless you don't consider Android to be linux. ;-)

the arm platform with windows on it is significant because it can be
sold at very high volumes and low cost. if we cant put linux on it
then its a win for m$. theres a lot of linux only arm devices out
there but at insignificant numbers. if m$ can create a device at the
right price for us at massive volumes then its not bad at all.
