We've all heard the horror stories of clueless IT departments instructing their users to use Tor for "security".
Tor only offers anonymity, provided you don't send any identifying information through it. Anyone can run a Tor node and sniff the data going through it. (http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2010/06/wikileaks-documents/) So don't use Tor to log in to your corporate email or FB. (I assume most of you know this stuff already, but it needed to be said.)
