something to be aware of is that this is not a purely technical
conference.  it is about technology, but not everyone speaking is
going to be a kernel hacker, programming guru, or even project
management wonk.  the list of tracks here:

is a peek into the different aspects of technology that one might
address in a talk.  there's quite likely something for everyone who's
motivated to contribute, even if it be with a topic of "how to
interact well with a local linux users group" =)
