I would like to get a radio remote control for presentations. I imagine something that talks to a USB plugin that pretends to be a keyboard, and generates carriage returns and backspaces when the powered remote forward and back buttons are pushed, driving Open Office or Acrobat Reader or whatever. I would like a radio remote rather than an infrared one, so I don't have to worry about where it is pointed.
There appear to be products like this for sale on the web, but I would like to find out about linux compatability and other issues before I buy one. Does anybody have first hand experience with one of these?
