I'm printing to a Brother 7820N. (You all probably know that N means network.) I haven't used it to fax or scan from my Ubuntu Hardy machine. My recollection is that I wasn't able to get scan to work on it, but I may not have tried too hard. I do those things on it with my XT laptop. Printing seems to be much slower from Ubuntu Hardy than from XT. I assume it's something to do with CUPS being in the middle.
