I currently sublet desk space in a building in SE for $250/mo. I don't have cool coffee machines or snack services, but I do have 24 hour access and a dedicated desk for like half the cost of Cubespace and the others.
My biggest complaint is that I don't have people around to collaborate with. I've worked independently for years and miss a lot having other programmers and tech people to bounce ideas off of. I'd love to go in on some office space with some others from the plug. It may also be worthwhile to look at the building that I currently sublet in, which is inexpensive but good close-in, and has large spaces currently available.
